>Entering "sage" (by itself) into the [Options] field while replying will cause the thread not to bump to the top of the page. Contrary to popular belief, a sage is not a downvote, and should not be used as one. "sage-bombing" or announcing that you've saged a thread may result in a ban.
All too often I see garbage threads at the top of the catalogue and decide to click on them thinking "golly gee can't wait to laugh at the retards who are earnestly engaging with this trash!" What do I actually find? 9/10 times the most recent reply, the one that bumped it to the top of the catalogue, is some lazy and ironic variation of "shit thread", "you have to go back", "soijack.mp4", "cringe", etc etc. These replies don't get you karma. The only thing that they do get is the thread to the top of the catalogue and other, higher quality threads closer to death at the bottom. When you see such a crappy thread, just hide it or leave it be. If there's something that you really want to say, at least use sage.
