Also don't just read books on atheist thought, I recommend pic related, Kalams cosmological argument is one of the current strongest arguments for the existence of a god, and it's lead to some of the best contemporary discussion on the existence of god. While I believe it isn't true as the idea that a single personal agent created the universe is a non sequitur, it's still interesting and one of the only reasons I don't immediately think of deists as retards.
