There are no dissidents. They don't exist. The left is being used to crush the right, the right is being compressed and made more volatile and unstable, causing periodic violent reactions which are used to enflame the left, causing it to swell and crush harder. It's a surprisingly stable feedback loop, stable meaning that the system itself is able to continuously perpetuate, not stable as in "we live in a stable society."

Everyone is playing their part. Just like how capitalism has turned anti-capitalism into a profitable industry, neoliberal bureaucracy has turned dissent and the desire for change into a useful mechanism for preserving the status quo. In order to be an actual dissident, you'd need to abandon a lot of the views you hold passionately enough to become a dissident over. If you actually identify in any real way with the "left wing" or "right wing" then you can no longer think or work in favor of social reform or revolution in any way that would actually make the world better collectively without automatically being incorporated into the plan to make it impossible.
