Thomas Harris once likened writing to going into an office. Someday you show up and the coffee's hot, the energy is amped, and everything just clicks. Other times you show up and nobody wants to work, your brain is fried, and the whole job seems like a waste of your time.
But you still show up to work at it every day, no matter what.
