The sudden loss of innocence because of excessive internet use from an early age, plus the notion that they have seen it all, does a number on their perspectives. I'd even say that the freedom that they gained is illusory, real freedom is only felt by experience out in the real world. What they got was merely a replica, a fake, an onanist abstract concept that cripples the inherent curiosity of man, and his subsequent quest for truth. A majority of them are also simply overloaded and stressed by this sort of 'information' whereby ignorance of the wide world would be preferable to whatever they have now.
