Men absolutely do it too, it's just that men will always have at least the pin-prick of self-doubt built into them, because as a man you are worthless and faceless unless you can differentiate yourself somehow. Men also have healthier social networks for "cooperative competition." I agree with you about modern men, but also I think male zoomers are uniquely feminised as a generation. I don't know if you can see it too or have the frame of reference to see it, but even the straight ones talk like fags, and even the ones with stereotypically masculine hobbies are preening and effeminate in the way they go about them.

The essence of male zoomer peer bonding in university is now just very feminine. Even the way they enunciate their words and "share" and "open up" emotionally about their happiness is essentially feminine. They divulge more with their body language and the easiness and relaxedness of their speaking, breathy halting speech conveying excitement, roundedness and lilting of enunciation, etc., all woman traits, because their lifestyle is basically a woman's lifestyle. They go to parties, they hang out, they socialise, they "have fun," they "share" and talk about the results of these activities, then repeat. The masculinity they're permitted to have within this has been restricted to gymbro culture and some tightly constrained, routinised lechery. Watch a bunch of frat guys walking around talking, there's no menacing or masculine energy to them anymore. It's essentially a bunch of broads babbling about their latest fun time.

I agree with everything you say and find this part especially interesting.

I unwittingly practiced some form of coom tantra over years where I reflected on my own potential for zoomer coomer behavior long enough that it stopped being a part of "me" and became something I could see externally, and I realized how much of my life it had infected and wormed its way into, and I realized that most men are like this by default now. Anime and video games, bombardment by sexuality in advertisements and media from all angles all the time, porn obviously, how every woman aged 13 to 50 dresses like a street walker and aspires to be a perceived as a fertile little teenage tart. The whole society is one big edging session. Sex is detached from love and marriage.

The only thing that is remotely comparable is imagining a society that has become universally addicted to a drug like heroin that shatters everything about you and reforms your whole being around the addiction itself. Imagine living in a society where opiate junkie existence was so normal that everybody began giving their babies opiates right away so there is no escape. That would actually be less dangerous than the relationship we have now with sex.

Post-apocalyptic movies are less disturbing than the hell we live in. A world of universal junkies is hell. We are at war with an enemy that doesn't show itself but works through our own people and even our own bodies, turning our own drives against us from the inside and turning us inside out.

Porn and years without sex and intimacy destroyed my sexual loyalty. Too many years alone in your own mind with your craving for sex, as a teenage and young adult guy, is a bad thing. At some point your desire for sex and your desire for intimacy decouple and become separate things. i have similar problems, unironically the more interested in metaphysics i become the less i remember why pussy was ever interesting. i still crave it on an animal level but that animal level can no longer project a symbolically stable fantasy that satisfies my higher mind. it comes out like a jumble of variously but not holistically related symbols and images. i used to be able to plug symbols into symbols and generate a fantasy, but now i find i'm doing more work for less payout and it becomes too abstract.
