Well, just imagine what kind of stories he put out if he were alive today. Now imagine him taking that OP description (Hey, he wrote a scene with a coven of witches once) it could be dismissed as pure schlock by some, but once read they realize how full of depth and weight, yet enough flourishes to offset the heaviness. Entertainment at its highest.
