>The guy who finds a place to put his penis
>Before he has a house of his own
>Will wind up dirt poor and covered with lice
>With a crowd of slut daughters to add to the slut wife

do you agree with Shakespeare?

Yes and no.
Temporal and spatial dimensions are different things.

It is possible to conceive a fourth spatial dimension; we can't perceive it like it truly is, but we can represent three-dimensional "cross-sections" of it (like a circle is the cross-section of a sphere seen in a 2D plane). This picture shows a tesseract rotating, seen from a 3D perspective. You have to keep in mind that the tesseract is not distorting at all in 4D space, it's just rotating. Again, we're only seeing "cross-sections" of it, that's why it seems to change shape to us.

We can also go further than four spatial dimensions; things get weirder.

Similarly, we can imagine several temporal dimensions. That's quite tricky too.

I reckon Lovecraft describes extra dimensions.

Hi /lit/ I wanna ask this to the literature students or teachers...
How does the academia defines canon literature?
or high culture literature, or how does the academia defines if a work should be teached in schools?

Riddle me this, /lit/

I am all on my own,
Wounded by iron weapons and scarred by swords.
I often see battle.
I am tired of fighting.
I do not expect to be allowed to retire from warfare
Before I am completely done for.
At the wall of the city, I am knocked about
And bitten again and again.
Hard edged things made by the blacksmith's hammer attack me.
Each time I wait for something worse.
I have never been able to find a doctor who could make me better
Or give me medicine made from herbs.
Instead the sword gashes all over me grow bigger day and night.

What am I?
