What philosopher interests you most /lit/
Btw if you post a God forsaken bookshelf full of unread books with unbent spines and pristine edges we all know you don't read and you wikipedia everything you know about philosophy.

I'm probably the most well read and most experienced person here. I don't need to waste time debating the worth of those books.

If you're here to read for entertainment I'd recommend Voltaire and Francois de la Rochefoucald as authors to pick from, as well as any epic poems found in the western tradition such as Beowulf or Paradise Lost.

What are good examples of successful, yet offensive books that have been published within the last 20 years?
Who publishes offensive books anymore?
I enjoy the book I'm writing now but I'm concerned it'll never see the light of day because of how many people and groups of people I'm taking shots at.
