You yourself must be LGB given how rent-free you are letting T be. And what is your contribution exactly to the defense of civilized culture? Preaching a Sneeders in the Hands of an Angry Chuck sermon on a bolivian mountaineering forum?

Not OP, but personally I have a cousin with a wall of funko pops who plays video games when he isn't at work. I don't consider him the death knell of civilization and he is not meaningful in the grand scheme of things, but you can smell OP's ressentiment over the fact that such people are entirely unfazed by what causes him anguish. I for one respect anyone who can cause that much seething simply by affirming his own life. If he wants to gather all the funko pops of his favorite pantheon of characters because they bring him joy, how much greater is that joy for the misery it inspires in OP. It's a beautiful thing to see someone get so angry, and in the true spirit of all ages to point and laugh at them for their insecurities over other people enjoying their lives

You could read Plato, Spinoza, Hegel, Nietzsche, Marx, Freud, Bergson, Bataille, and Artaud, or you could do exactly what this poster says. It's probably safer to go with the latter.

Just another day writin' and creatin'. Tomorrow it's back to work and I'm sitting here trying to catalogue my old stuff for what basically amounts to an exhibition nobody will see.
That's cool though. We're makin' efforts.

Ah so you've thrown in the towel, or shroud as it were, as far as discussion is concerned.

Start with translations of Buddhist scriptures or with commentary from practicing, i.e. monastic, Buddhists. Avoid anything put out by non-academic Western layman authors—for now. You won't understand why and where they are mostly wrong.

You should have a complete picture of what you are seeking AND what you are rejecting.

There were Greek Buddhists! Not as exotic as you might think.
>>18562481
All of those exist in Buddhism but Buddhism is far less centralized and different sects emphasize different things. Some will have more of those features and others less.

I somehow ended up going on a tangent on Tartarus and how Uriel watches over the 200 fallen angels to Persephone eating a pomegranate and getting stuck in the underworld.
It put me on page 107, and now I feel like I absolutely, must flesh out that scaffold of a thought.
Every step through the valley of death freezes the shadows in my wake, but through the fire and flames illuminating the ever creeping night I carry on.
