When enough years have passed, when our race has travelled far enough onward that 2012 and 1700 seem 'close', as whole centuries are surmised in mere paragraphs now, there is little chance that literature produced right now will be mentioned. They'll still talk of Shakespeare, Pope, Ibsen and Cervantes, but our age will be associated with the internet, comedy and pop music. Face it, we'll basically be a literary redundancy, and - most probably - the same will apply to cinema, philosophy and all but the most emergent art forms. 21st century rap might be significant in five or six centuries, 21st century writing won't matter.

Nevertheless, I suppose everyone just wants to spread their genes, so you shouldn't change the way you behave. On the contrary, playing on the weakness of your sex will get you rather far in life.
