Where does /lit/ go to write really really short stories online? I'm asking for an online community of amateur writers looking for a place to post critique and provide suggestions for one anothers writings.

My style is more creepy, and surreal so I like to write what some may call "creepy-pasta". I know some of you might hate this, but I just ask kindly if you could help me.

The only one I went to all the time was:
monolith.net (but now its closed and no longer here)

If nothing else I ask if any of you know of any blogs or go to any blogs that has pretty good OC short stories or creepy shorts.

> please dont recommend "creepypasta.com" because I've lurked that site and It doesnt have the things I want. Mostly actual original content.

Thanks /lit/ With much love,
Anon

Hi /lit/, I'm sure there is a post of this somewhere-but I'm willing to try anyways-I was wondering if you would be able to give me some of your favorite books to read, or just a list of some books that you think people should read whether you like them, or not. Regardless, here are some authors, and books I have read and liked: Jonathan Safran Foer's Extremely Close and Incredibly Loud, Augustine Burroughs, Nick Hornby (thought I don't really like him), the obligatory Harper Lee and George Orwell, lastly, Ayn Rand, to simplified list. I seem to prefer books in first person more than books in third, but I'm willing to take any suggestions. I took a semester off from College and after a month or so, I find that I have little to do, so I decided that getting back into books would be something that could pass time, as well as better myself.

Thank you /lit/.
