So let's get this straight, you're looking at this from the calvinist perspective which believes that Christ was a man who was the son of God, and Christ spared humanity from God's wrath by placing both judgement and sin onto himself. You're doing this by interpreting John as Abraham-Isaac scenario, which it is not. The Church fixed this a almost 2000 years ago; Christ is neither more man than God, nor more God than man. Christ is the Word made flesh. So when Christ, as one being with God, sacrifices himself, it is God Himself showing us that ressurection is possible. Too many theologians focus on the passion, it is after His crucifixion that the message becomes clear. Christ didn't perish, he was ressurected, and in not perishing he showed humanity that there is life beyond sin and death. This is catechism 101, now let's move on to real theology and not this unlearned arianist crock.
