In line with the font thread that is now unfortunately gone, what fonts are most popular these days?

I feel like font is an essential element that can change the mood of writer and reader alike and really perk things up.

But I'm out of the loop on how it's used in publishing. Anyone have any insight or ideas to stew over for the week to come?
