Fr. Seraphim is indeed correct. The spirit of the age (and all its archons and powers) is making forerunners of his Antichrist to prepare the way for him. It is part of the global apostasy from Christ. Protestantism too is a big part of it, not just Eastern demon-worship since they do not believe in correct doctrine about the Antichrist. Muslims too will fall into his hands and believe the Antichrist to be 'Mahdi' or the Messiah himself.

That is all 'meditation' is essentially even in the Eastern sense. It's you obtaining a 'spiritual high' by communing with fallen spirits. The highest form of this is getting so deluded so as to deny even your own body and mind as illusory, claiming that your very personhood is eternal and divine.
