Is there an order in which to read his works?
i want to read C&P but i've heard to read Notes first.
Does it even matter for a midwit like me?

If god is real, why do people have to come up with all these bizarre logical proofs of his supposed existence? I don't have to prove that there is a BMW three series on my driveway with a bunch of equations, it's just there. I don't have to start with the a priori assumption that the Beemer exists and work backwards from there with a bunch of stupid pil-pul

I'm still working my way through a bunch of books, but I've got Eliot on my reading list. I can't wait to get to The Wasteland, I've heard nothing but good things about it :)

I know it's his most popular, but I love Prufrock to death, quite possibly my favourite poem (atm) :)

Wow, you must really be a whimsically dark and spiritual intellectual.

I really wanna get into Proudhon as he seems like a cool guy to read about property and markets, what things should I read first before actually getting really deep into him and mutualist/ anarcho-individualist thought?

Joyce was known to do this often. He'd pick up new books each week and if he liked something (which was rare) he devoured the bibliography. I can only remember Tolstoy and Ibsen as examples though.

I have to say when I've tried to do it it's made me much more critical of an author. Their fixations become much more tiring. Reading Dostoevsky novels in remotely close succession really soured me on him. The Idiot is such a shit novel

Hey /lit/, what are some good e-readers?
Ive been looking at the Amazon Oasis but it seems a little pricey and i saw that it has some battery issues, can anyone confirm?
Also, what are the advantages of buying an e-reader compared to just reading on my phone?

Because that is an assumption that everyone who believes that he arrived to some truth must hold. Truth is that which, when it is fully comprehended, cannot be doubted or understood as anything other. There is nothing more inappropriate than to lower it to opinion, which can be disagreed upon.
So, if someone disagrees with something you think to have fully comprehended and, in that way, arrived at a certain truth, the only way you can explain his disagreement is by his understanding of it being lacking.
It is nothing connected to any position, it is merely the consequence of all people having reason and reason being able to attain certain truths as well as to fail to attain them, if his comprehension is lacking.
