It shouldn't be "do what you love." It should be, "do what you like the most that you think has a realistic shot at becoming a source of income." Someone who loves to ski more than anything but can't even make the team at their high school probably shouldn't stake their future on skiing professionally.

But in all seriousness, start with Homer. It's a cool story and is at least as influential as the Bible, while the Divine Comedy is just some Italian dude's attempt to roast people he didn't like and lionize popular figures, i.e. the most pathetic thing ever.
