97% of posts about any topic on this site are vaccous idiocy. This doesn't mean peope a) haven't read Guenon and b) he isn't interesting and insightful in somethings especially esoteric symbolism.

So just picked it up and I feel shocked out how hylic Guenon seems in pic related. He seems to utterly miss the point of the teaching of Jesus' (pbuh) as itself an esoteric interpretation of Judaism and fails to understand the exoteric nature of the church as simply a vehicle for the preservation of The (esoteric) Principle (i.e. which, imo, could be expressed briefly as: nondualism and radical acceptance and affirmation of life through devotion to and celebration of the Holy Spirit and God's Mercy.) (Although obviously it also has all the typical exoteric functions of community, security, stability etc.)
"Christianity" (or more properly the teachings of Jesus (pbuh)) doesn't need a sacred language because it (in principle at least if not in manifestation) understands that communion with the Divine happens in spirit not langauage (intentions not words), it also has no need for law because in the recognition of The Principle we move beyond the need for exoteric laws and can rely on the movement of the Spirit (i.e. conscience and other Divine exhortation) to ensure our souls harmony with the Spirit of the law.
What do you think? Why does Guenon seem to lapse in this area? Was it just a matter of lack of interest in his own traditional (spiritual) origin point, or was he just being tentative because lack of evidence? I'm skeptical of the notion that he didn't reflect on the above points. Also what do you think of my take on "Christianity"- whatever it is-? Share your conception?
Peace.
