Hi /lit/, I have a bit of a problem. I have been writing for the last five years with a word total north of 100 000. The problem is that I write in spurts, sometimes I can sit days on end writing while at one point I didn't write for a year. The problem is that when I come back from a long absence of writing I hate what i have written and start from scratch. I realy want ti finish this project but I don't think I will if I keep this up.
Should I power through even though it would probably turn out shit or should I continue like I do now, and also, how does anon deal with a lack of motivation?

I understand why historically he was regarded as a great philosopher. But let's keep it real. His ideas have absolutely no relevancy in modern day societies. His Republic is a horrible, hierarchical way of government. And his cave allegory / philosophy of forms (often wrongly translated as ideas) is ridiculous and flawed.
