Yeah, it's been recommended a couple times already ITT so I'll definitely be checking that one out too.

>What did you think of Bolaño?
Not a fan, truth be told. I hated The Savage Detectives and haven't dared read anything more from the chap.

Might give 'House of the spirits' (I think it's called that) a shot, especially now that I think I know (?) he didn't like Allende.

OP here, I've also read "The passion of G.H." and found it quite good. The hour of the star seems interesting too.

Listen here bitch, compulsory education is the only way we can get these idiots to start believing in science like evolution and climate change.
Admittedly, if you didn't understand science (like even just a little bit) concepts like
>man comes from apes
and
>if you don't turn off your light at night, drive less and vote this way you will litterally be responsible for Earth heating up, forests burning, nations flooding and the great mass of creatures of the world dying out in the future.
would make no sense because of how unintuitive they are. Even flat-earth bullshit would sound appealing to these uneducated plebs
>Duh, loOKs FlaT toO Me
That's why we need to indoctrinate them into scientific beliefs when they are young. This will get them to start being skeptical of the prejudices and unscientific ideas of their hick parents.
Vaccines, Masks, Climate-change, Evolution, Globe Earth, all that good stuff, are in danger NOW. Imagine if people were MORE stupid.
Also I'm sure a few plebs become enlightened when they listen to Bach, read Shakespeare, and look at a da Vinci for the first time. If they didn't have that avenue to become educated through compulsion they wouldn't have become > or = midwit level.

Do you know any good lawbooks for idiots. I got into reading case law during the riots because its easier to make sense out of them than reading news reports. I watch lawyer podcasts like boomers watch Sports Center

Complete the first draft of my first novel

Pretty fired up. I'm 40k in already from 2017.

But yeah the first two sound like they could be really good. Third sounds kinda cliche.
