What are some red/black pill books about how the media control the masses? Pic related probably be one of them but I would like to know what are /lit recommendations on this subject...

I'm looking for opposing books that show that capitalism is good. I've read a couple of works now that hold views that capitalism has led to many issues. I'm convinced on either side, but trying get a view from both side of the aisle. Recommendations for any economic structure

I just finished a piece of media that I didn’t think was particularly good, but the emotional and psychological reaction I had by it ending was strange. I’d like to know more about that hollow feeling of being forced back into reality after being deeply captivated.

What appears is good, what is good appears. The spectacle of the 4chan post demands an effectively imposed monopoly of appearances without allowing any meaningful reply. One cannot reply to a 4chan post. The post itself inserts a spectacle that works autonomously as a quasi-sentient entity, leeching off the mind of the replier and depositing it into the mind of the other. The spectacle itself has a body formed from the minds of others, but none all its own. Even by interacting with the spectacle, he is cannibalizing the bodies of others and throwing his own body in the gruesome orgy.

The culprit is spectacular media, along with capitalism and jews by extension.

It's a bit hard to read if you haven't read your Marx, and the first chapters are pretty vague, but you can skim quickly over some parts and still get something out of it. Debord was right about everything.
