Literally none finer. The Book of the New Sun will permanently expand your imagination and scope of philosophy. It deserves every bit of praise it receives. I now have a hard time reading other science fiction books because even though the authors may present cool ideas, shit man, they're not Gene Wolfe.

Urth is the planet on which gene wolfes New Sun epic is located. certain hints and references not to mention the geography per se tell us it is indeed the earth in another time or dimension. great literature btw not only for fantasy lovers.
