This doesn't really happen. I think you are the same guy who got mad at that one person who compared Wolfe to Proust and Pynchon almost a year ago now. I forget if that guy was trying to enforce his views or not, but generally most threads since have been quite civil. I criticized BOTNS twice in this thread without people sperging out. To tell you the truth, you seem to be the one intolerant of people enjoying wolfe (whether they think he is the goat or just good). You come into every thread now saying stuff like this like we are trying to enforce our views on you, when, in reality, you are trying to force your views on us.

Keep this in mind when you are feeling down. I think it is a very good verse.

I would say the standard opinion on BOTNS is that it gets better throughout. Wish I could read Wolfe's magnum opus again for the first time.
