Are there any 20th century philosophers besides Wittgenstein/Heidegger who came up with entire systems or interesting ideas? My impression of 20th c. philosophy is 99% of it is (1) French pseuds like Deleuze with no actual message, (2) Boring ethical papers like LUL if you don't donate to charity you're le evil!!!, (3) Boring academic criticism #32415 of Descartes or (4) A feminist/marxist reading of _____.

Is all the interesting shit concentrated in philosophy of mind?

Here you go pal. I think because of his interrelation with the ordinary language approach to Philosophy, Wittgenstein (Late Wittgenstein at least) isn't as wrapped up in complex philosophical systems and specialised terminology.

To understand the Early philosophy ie. Tractus. Russell and Frege I imagine. (Plato and Kant might be necessary before Frege)

But if you just want to read Late Wittgenstein ie. Culture and Value and PI, I would argue there's no strictly required reading. Really the language being used is relatively accessible. I think of PI as a series of poetic meditations and examples that seek for you to see the world and philosophy with greater clarity.

Sure, people on the internet say all kinds of crazy. Take it as a thought exercise, if one were smart enough to find living easy but too lazy to do much more than that, would they find that sufficiently satisfying? I say no. Would that person realize the problem? Yes, but they still might not overcome it.

But seriously, Wittgenstein made a similar point in a lecture, namely that if a miracle had occurred today people would attempt to study and explain it scientifically, basically they would attempt to make it non-miraculous.
