yeah its called predictive programming designed to lure the audience it seeks to program byway of easing him into the selected program through forecasts until the selected program becomes reality but to the audience its a detached reality precisely becuz it was written about 30 some odd years ago. And even if man recognizes the similarities of what was written before his time to the time that he now lives, he has no way to gauge the behavior impact on his subconscious. thus the foreseen plan into existence from the forecasted material becomes reality.
this is especially so in fiction; be them books, videogames, movies or tv shows. the reality of the audience gets warped and detached from the reality they inhabit.
