I am actually taking the meme and starting with the presocratics. Is all philosophy this comfy? I am on Empedocles right now and I actually prefer his explanation of perception to what is scientifically proven, for it makes life more interesting or poetic.
Who is your favorite greek philospher?
Who is your favorite ancient greek writer? I like Aristophanes very much, though I feel Aeschylus is the best playwright whose works survive.
How long studying would it take to be able to read ancient greek? I am already swamped with language learning right now but I want to eventually read Plato in the original language if I could.
