3 people. I agree with the other two, not an obscure country at all. The enmity is one of the political structures (and for good reason, since the dictatorship actively fucks everyone in middle east [Yemen, Irak, Hisbollah, Syria...] and caused the Saudis to countervail with religious terrorism), not of the people, although what the US did to Mossadegh (look up Operation Ajax on wikipedia) thus toppling the seeds of democracy in foreign countries (like always kek) was beyond shitty. Iran is absolutely crucial politically, once a regime change is performed the whole world and the middle east in particular will become a less shitty place. It's not without reason that western news make such a fuss about it.

Help a Germanbro out. In my country they say it's the language of poets and thinkers but I do not perceive it like that. I read fiction in its original language or translated into English rather than German. Did the internet spoil my brain and alienate me from my own fucking mother tongue? Do I just brute force English vocab and grammar into my brain until I can actually write a novel for a non-teenager audience? Or do I just bite the bullet and write in my own language?

Sorry for this weird question. Just checking if someone has the same fucking problem.

Any recommendations on some light (as in low weight) affordable netbooks/notebooks for comfy writing around the house? I know I could get the shittiest machine for a 100 bucks as long as it can run a word processor but do you have some more subjective tips? Favorite screen size? Practical keyboard layouts etc.
