I believe Graeber is doomerpilled only in the sense that his ability to define and critique society is so much sharper and more well defined than any of his solutions. In debt and BS Jobs, he explicitly states that he doesn't wish to provide solutions as those are what end up being criticized instead of the majority of the material content and reviewers end up focusing on the procedural aspects to criticize his work because they are lazy. I know that he participated in the Wallstreet protests, and I know in his books he does provide a little bit of solution, and in some of his lecture/talks he provides solutions and examples. But, even if this sounds like Chomsky, I think Graeber's tone and attitude towards change in the long run is most about reduction of suffering, knowing that collapse will eventually happen. Global warming, wars, nuclear holocausts, etc. What did he do? Helped get rid of a global bank! For what in exchange? Class consciousness until the market bursts again... soon.
