Nature is extremely cruel and unforgiving, this challenge demands that any creature in the animal kingdom make hard choices for not just their survival and well-being, but of their flock and even species as well. Equate this concept to human beings and you get the same results, albeit varied in what societal struggle they undergo. This ultimately will require the suppression of owns own urges and desires to ensure that they survive and thrive in the nuances of what their "greater good" is, which is, as I listed earlier:
