I never developed a good work ethic for practicing my skills. I suck at everything I try and get frustrated when I'm not immediately good at it, then quit practicing because I feel like I suck and shouldn't waste my time on something I suck at.
I don't really know how to fix this either. Every time I try doing a proper practice session I inevitably lose focus and end up repeating things I've done before until I get bored and put it up.
