I like his podcast and it helped me start turning the wheels in my head about both reading and writing. Ultimately I learned more from reading literature and there's a limit to what he can teach about literary fiction as he pointed out his hosts are geared toward genre fiction. I've never read one of his books and probably never will. Howard Tayler is based though.
