I'm about to take English lit next semester. How do I casually let slip that I have a larger vocabulary than anyone else in the class (including the teacher) without coming off as pretentious (pretentious means 'attempting to impress by affecting (affecting means 'pretend to have or feel') greater importance')?

I tried reading ready player one but some of the words are a bit too big for me and the pacing was so slow I got bored but I did like the fact that it had anime-like qualities.

Does anyone have anything similar but the MC has cheat powers?
