I've always been very interested in the Middle East desert landscape and in the context of the medieval era and how homosexuality and homoeroticism could fit in there, I want to write a book about a fictional country called Salamah, an island with the same size of Socotra located in southern Oman, conquered by the Ibadi Islamic dynasty of the Al-Nibaq after the fall of the Seljuk Empire. The Al-Nibaq would be a dynasty of looters which sailed the seas of Persia and India, plundering coast villages. The story would take place around 1200 during the Byzantine-Seljuk wars and just before the Ayyubidas conquest of Jerusalem, but I can change my mind.

My book would tell how an imam of Salamah, Yussuff Al-Nibaq, ordered his men to start kidnapping boys aged 14 to 16, and during the looting, he would kidnap two boys, one in Persia and the other in Gujarat. The main boy and main character, however, would be Guilhermo of Genoa (I have not yet decided on the name), a beautiful 14 years old boy son of a merchant who traveled to Jerusalem and took him, the merchant would diee during an ambush by arab thieves, and Guilhermo would then be taken to Aqabah and sold to looters in Salamah to sexually serve the imam.

The story would explore diplomacy in the Middle East at that time, and also how Guilhermo would live at the domain of the imam, describing sexual acts in detail and how the boy would eventually fall in love with the imam. The imam would be a sadistic man who would torture the boys for sexual pleasure, except Guilhermo, because they would be in love with each other. Guilhermo would know how to speak Arabic because he was taught by his father since he was a child. The story would end with the imam and his sex slaves being killed beheaded for sodomy by the imam's brother Ahmad Al Nibaq, Guilhermo (now 20 years old) would be considered the source of the imam's impure desires and a curse, so he would die in the worst way possible, being tortured with 100 lashes on the buttocks and then being skinned alive.
