I gotta say, I understand the complaints regarding Vol 8 as a whole. Each chapter has multiple POVs, and the story seems to jump around like crazy without time to develop much of anything. Thankfully there's been a few longer spans, like the Wistram and the Hectval chapters, but it does feel like the author is spread a bit thin. Also seems like you could fill an entire volume with just the miscellaneous plotlines that have been dropped since the start of the series, but other than Liscor's Dungeon there isn't much I'm personally missing (Does that ever become relevant again?)
Despite that, I am still enjoying the read. I'm surprised how well the story is going despite the main character being effectively dead, but seems like building a wide cast helped smooth that out
