Poetry noob here. I just read my first poetry book. I just want to know if all poetry books are like that: you read 100 poems, 98 have you feeling absolutely nothing and 2 leave you in absolute awe.

I don't own a single book. I've read the entire western canon on pirated pdfs on my 50 dollar smartphone which is the only piece of electronic technology I own. I also live in a storage shed that has no running water and have to use public showers and toilets. I also drink 5+ litres of spirits a week.
