>"yeah Asians have higher IQs but Europeans are superior because of muh CREATIVITY!"
Unironically true.

You know that meme about how Japanese just use Twitter for posting pictures of food and cats? Well, it's true. Because unlike the West, they don't really care about politics or religion at all. Even on their equivalent of 4chan, all they talk about is anime, manga, video games, or convenience store food (and occasional racism against Koreans). They never had an Enlightenment or a Locke, so the individual's capacity to learn truth via reason is just not a thing over there.

That's why Asia could have never produced a Shakespeare. All his work is predicated on identity and individual neuroses, they're fundamentally Western, have you EVER read a non-western novel with a character like Hamlet or Lear or Macbeth, where most of the conflict happens in their head? If you have, it's probably Western-influenced (like the golden age of Japanese novels).

Of course, asians are creative. They're just creative towards specific ends. Asking an asian to do philosophy or write a deep character though is pointless.
