FUCK SHAKESPEARE
I can't believe I got meme'd by Bloom into buying this hack's complete works. For fuck's sake, why am I so gullible? I thought I was going to read the greatest writer of all time. This motherfucker isn't even top 10.
Plato, Cervantes, Dante, Borges, Joyce. They are all incredible and managed to write unbelievable works on their own. Shakespeare needed collaborators for this shit? What the fuck?
This is another anglo trick and I fell for it. They managed to meme Shakespeare into being thought of as the best of all times. He's nowhere near the top spot. I could probably enjoy his works if he wasn't so fucking overblown. Fuck anglos.

Non-Anglo (and possible brainlet) here. Are there any resources that can help me comprehend Shakespeare's plays? I find them very difficult to read, even on the level of what's actually going on at times.

Or is it just a matter of powering through, expanding your vocabulary as you go and gradually getting used to the meter?
