Your linear understanding of the difference between Conservatives and Libertarians is juvenile. There is no such thing as the "Social Axis", or if there is, it only refers to feelings on specific policies, like drugs. Whats more important is the fundamental issue of what "Liberty" is; in both the Conservative and Libertarian worldview, liberty is simply the transfer of powers from the State to corporations, whom individuals may theoretically (but not practically) freely choose to associate with. Once the Libertarian has accepted that these power dynamics exist and begin to embrace them, they can then begin to shift their ideas on authority to the "Social Axis", or vice versa. From here, the jump to Fascism should be obvious.
