I've ruined my ability to think philosophically. I've systemized too much. I can only think in conditional statements now

I'm all "if" and no "is." All I can bring myself to do is set up logical structures. I can't treat my own personal qualitative views as anything more than biases without feeling intellectually dishonest

Is this normal? What have I done to myself? My philosophical and political views are disappearing, replaced only by thoughts like "if you value x over y, then z, but if you value y over x, then..."
