Of course if they stick very closely to the story.

Hey /lit/, I'm looking for a certain type of book in the same vein of the Hitchhiker's Series and Good Omens, Fantasy with a taste of humor that doesn't detract from the plot. Any recommendations?

Okay, so for sci-fi space travel parodies, we have Hitchhiker's.

For Apocalypse parodies we have Good Omens.

Is there anything like these books parodying the "controlling government" books like 1984?
