Weak atheism is pretty good, all things considered.

I feel a kind of confederacy with all my fellow mortals because our ultimate fate is death and to be forgotten. It feels good knowing that I have something in common with everybody else- and not just that but it's the big thing. I don't feel hate or resentment toward humankind at large anymore.

I can still argue about why I dislike people's positions or ideologies or whatever, but it's coming from a different place. There's no real winning, there's only the quiet influence you exert on your universe.

I am no longer bitter about God or the gods or your god or whatever. It's all just a coping strategy for the fact that we want something beyond ourselves and may never really have it. It is all good. We can argue, we can troll each other, we all end up in the same place.

Be decent to each other despite the fact that nobody is watching. That is a straight up Christian thing to think.

Most horrifying concept you can imagine?

I think that my entire life is just a setup by a malicious and especially clever god to condition me to value a set of concepts I will be deprived of indefinitely. I have no proof of this at all.
