I just made myself laugh and then continue to fake laugh at this shitpost(the part about theatricality was serious) while alone. I don't know what's real anymore and everything physical seems like a total whole of abstracting representation. I just, am, in the physical world. I don't know what you guys did to me but the only things that seem real are when I am constantly moving, travelling and wandering. Or when reading/experiencing the arts. Maybe the occasional woman who I genuinely feel something for, and even rarer maybe a man who I feel to be my equal. A man who does not have to be good looking as I am, but at least strong. Not tall as I am but at least average. A high intelligence and not socially retarded. But no, I'm just destined to always be in an outside that is always inadequate to my own existence.

I'm about 40 percent through the book and I can't help but feel a lot of parts are boring, specifically the parts where the author diverges from the main storyline to talk about something like the quality of whiteness or the classification of whales. if it was just the shipmates talking to each other it would be OK but at this rate it seems very slow.
