Describing going to a strip club,
>Currently sitting at a booth at XXXXXXXXX, watching the dancers. The business model of this venue is interesting, almost entirely focused on private dances. There is one performer at a time, with long breaks in between, and a steady stream of beautiful angels chatting with customers and trying to lure them into a private dance...
>It occurs to me that I am an impoverished Marquis de Sade. I enjoy a night of modest perversions, debauchery on a shoestring budget. A line of attractive woman, barely clothed, who come to me, flirt with me, put their hands on my shoulder, bat their eyes at me- and nothing done on my part to deserve it. They realize I have no money and leave to the next table, and I return to my book. Ten minutes later another one comes, "what are you reading handsome?", and the game repeats. As added perversion, I play the poet, the teacher, the academic. One woman tells me she is Persian: I bore her with latin declensions. Nothing in my speech or conduct is vulgar, and therein lies the vulgarity.
>With miserly cunning I thus enjoy my night. Perhaps next week I will find a pleasant bar to drink at beforehand. A single drink, a good book, the company of beautiful woman. All this can be had for a very modest price, so long as limits are observed.
>A dance is how I round off the night. After it is done I leave the club and walk and smoke for a long time alongside the water. I can feel the warm desire in my balls. I can make our her scent in my nose. She calls me handsome, says I have kind eyes, puts her hand on my chest as we leave. Good business for sure, but I enjoy the flattery.
>Sometimes I will put a bonbon in my pockets while shopping, to feel the wicked thrill of having stolen something. To breath the air after having done so successfully. The trick is this: to restrict oneself to the minutes pleasures, the subtlest acts transgression. How easy would it be, for example, to fuck a beautiful girl or to rob a bank or commit some other grand act of moral and legal defience? Yet even doing so with perfect success would be a disgraceful failure, for it would ruin the thousands of small pleasures that make up my day. It is with Epicurean precision then, that I measure and weigh my sins, buying my ticket to hell with the loose change in my pocket.

Read the Quran OP. God gave every people their religion and their prophets because it's his will that there is a variety of nations.

Then read Roberto Calasso and Hindu scripture to get a true appreciation for paganism and polytheism.

There's an old story of a wise man and a dumb man. The wise man comes across the dumb man searching furiously underneath a streetlight. "What are you looking for?" he asks. "My keys", the dumb man replied, "I lost them by the river". The wise man is intrigued, "so why are you looking for them under this streetlight then?". "Because there is more light here".
