Not true anymore. Common Core has completely changed this. Teachers have more freedom than ever before to teach the kind of sources they wish to teach. You obviously have never been through a credential program or understand the dynamic of education or differentiated lesson planning. Until you have witnessed how differentiation improves the quality of education, you can't really speak. Your argument holds no water. There are at least a dozen of my students who have special kinds of needs in, from which I must attend to those learning needs on the fly, almost instinctual. A computer program will never have this capability. Education is truly a human institution, with both successes and flaws. You need to learn to accept that
