/lit/ - Literature

Hey /lit/, I'm going to get myself an e-reader today. It's pic related, since it's cheap and I don't have money for a better one yet. Thoughts on it? What should I get ready to use it, and mainly, what are some good free e-book sources to use? I already got Calibre and Mangle ready here. Also, general e-reader thread.

Which Kindle does /lit/ use?

How does /lit/ feel about kindles and e-books?
I just can't seem to get into them, i find myself distracted from the story, i can't seem to finish etc and it just doesn't have the same feel. Am i the only one here who can't seem to make the change, or is it a common feeling among /lit's denizens?

What's the best cheap reader I can buy? Is pic related?

I recently bought a Kindle. Does anyone have a recommendation for a weird novel in an urban setting? Any genre works, not a fan of romance or mystery. I have yet to read a book comparable to American Psycho so something along those lines would be cool.

Since I got my Kindle, I've read more books in a week than I used to read in a year.
Does /lit/ strictly prefer the haptic quality of printed paper and its long tradition, or does it embrace the future?

IT'S HAPPENING

How do you archive your books on your Kindle? I'm trying to use folders to organize mine but I'm facing some difficulties. By genre? By author? By tipology? By status of reading? Also, I feel the urge of separating all the free shit I download on a daily basis (fee e-book of the day on Amazon, eBay, aNobii...) from the books I actually payed for.
Any comment or feedback on this? I just deleted all my folders so I'm ready to organize all of my books again.

I have a huge collection of .epub and .lit files on my computer, how do I get them on to my Kindle (4th Gen)?

Hey guys I'm not sure if I should post this here or on /g/, but I'm gonna try here first.

I'm looking to buy myself a Kindle, what is the conensus on it? I'm a kinda old-fashioned guy so I do enjoy flipping pages and feeling the weight of the book but some books I'm interested in are not available at my local bookstore/library and I thought I could read those on Kindle.

Oh and is that paperwhite thingy worth it? Keep in mind I plan on using it only for reading and nothing else.
