I've had a growing interest in William S. Burroughs lately and I was just wondering what you would consider his most important works.
I've just read Junky and it was enjoyable but I'm aware it's one of his most straight forward books.

Hello chaps, I am going to pick up a book by Burroughs tomorrow and I was wondering if any of you fine young men could help me. I have read Naked Lunch and Soft Machine and I really want to read more of his work, the only thing being is I didn't really like the cut and fold technique he used in soft machine. Is there any of his novels that are laid out in standard fashion or are most of them a mind fuck? I loved naked lunch and it took me a few read throughs to get it. Is there anything of his that is a little more straight forward?
