>says God doesn’t exist but personifies humanity’s nihilist condition as resulting from the manipulations of a malicious supernatural entity
>says life has no meaning but finds purpose and satisfaction in spreading his memetic existential dread to innocent people
>preemptively points all of this out so you can’t even criticize him for it

Heh, nothing personnel kids

Well... I definitely don't mind nonexistence at this point.
as for the examined life, I have examined life from my perspective with all my ability alright. and what I found is that I don't know nuffin.
was it worth living? given that I found no solutions to my troubles let alone anyone else's, personally no.
how was your existential journey so far anons?

"From the depths of the American heartland, a single truck cut through the grey veil of an otherworldly fog, a lone wanderer venturing into the unknown. The world around him was shrouded in an atmosphere of dread, a feeling that grew stronger as he approached the decrepit signpost of 'Sneed's Feed and Seed.' But something was amiss, something that spoke to a sense of unease that went beyond the mere ruin of the place. The letters that made up the sign seemed to writhe and twist, a grotesque and mocking display that could only be described as a mockery of language itself. The words 'Formerly Chuck's' were a talisman of darkness, an invocation of horrors that defied comprehension. The man drove on, haunted by the realization that he was no longer in a world of reason or sanity, but had stumbled into an abyss of unfathomable nightmares."

One cringes to hear scientists cooing over the universe or any part thereof like schoolgirls over-heated by their first crush. From the studies of Krafft-Ebbing onward, we know that it is possible to become excited about anything—from shins to shoehorns. But it would be nice if just one of these gushing eggheads would step back and, as a concession to objectivity, speak the truth: THERE IS NOTHING INNATELY IMPRESSIVE ABOUT THE UNIVERSE OR ANYTHING IN IT.
