It's "deer", not "deers".

I've always enjoyed writing and have a very good imagination. My sister is writing a book and wants to get published, and that got me thinking about doing the same. Even if I don't get published I will have enjoyed writing a book. So any writers here have any tips, books or anything that can help me get started? I have tons of ideas already and started developing them, but I can't think of the whole story through. So any help would be appreciated.

Does it bother Americans that they routinely abuse the English language? If I hear an American say 'I COULD care less' instead of 'I COULDN'T care less' one more time...

Not to mention 'Legos' with an 's'...
