Is it worth writing something few people (probably none of them inside your circle of friends/family) will find the way to appreciate?

I'm not talking about writing complex things for 4000 IQ beings, but rather addressing pieces of work that for actual enjoyment the reader may need to have certain imagination/literary sensibility or even certain books already read to find actual enjoyment.

I do not consider myself to be intelligent, but yes I can be quite imaginative from time to time, and I left writing from dellusion since before quarentine. Now that I came back and saw my progress in certain works I'm scraching my head: is it really worth when no one will give a fuck?
