So why was it a dystopia again?

Daily uninterrupted internet pleasure has made me unable to care for anyone or anything, or experience joy or sufffering. I'm like a character from Brave New World.

How do I go about fixing this? Do I have to live like a savage and whip myself in order to redeem myself?

Why didn't this book mention homosexuality? You'd think it'll occur often with all the sexual deviancy there.

It's an okay book, you could read it in a day and it has a couple of nice ideas in it which makes it worth it imho.

As a novel it fails to deliver in a lot of ways tho (character, plot, prose).

One flaw in his future that stuck out to me was him ignoring the need of people to have (long term) emotional connections to other people (some replacement for family at least). I don't think people could function purely on drugs, sex and communal activity.

Thoughts on this?
